What does Ask Price mean in crypto terms?
The ask price refers to the minimum price a seller is willing to accept to sell a cryptocurrency or asset.
What is Ask Price?
The Ask Price is the lowest price a seller is currently willing to accept for an asset. It is the sticker price on a live listing, the number you need to hit to buy right now. Picture a sneaker drop where someone names their number and waits for a buyer to say yes.
The Ask Price is not guaranteed to be your fill price. If size is thin or the market moves, you might pay higher on execution due to slippage and fees.
How Ask Price works
Think of it like a live marketplace. Sellers post offers, buyers decide whether to lift them. Quick run through:
